The T-Rex Mall is owned by 1173 Mall, LLC (QALICB), a for profit subsidiary of ABLE, Inc. (Sponsor).  The mall was built in 1965. It is a cornerstone building anchoring a major intersection of ND Highway 22 and 12th Street in Dickinson, North Dakota.  Located directly southwest of I-94 at Exit 61, the mall is situated on 6.66 acres with 89,719 gross square feet.  Tenants include both sponsor owned nonprofit businesses and non-sponsor owned commercial businesses.  

ABLE, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation established in 1984 to serve persons with intellectual disabilities.  Currently ABLE supports nearly 100 persons in their homes, work and communities.  With locations in Dickinson, Bowman and Hettinger North Dakota, ABLE employs approximately 200 support staff whose primary role is to discover who people are, who they love, what they enjoy and what enhances their lives.  This process of discovery happens through day-to-day supports working with a team of family, friends, coworkers and community members who, together, support the life-long process of personal growth. 

The mall has undergone significant renovations since 2019 to create a more beautiful facility for our community as well as providing a variety of employment opportunities for people with disabilities who are supported by ABLE in Dickinson.
