Full time employees are paid 8 hours for holiday pay whether they work the holiday or not. Employees have the option of banking the 8 hours where the hours are put into a leave account and can be used at anytime with no waiting period. If the employee chooses to bank the holiday hours, they will need to notify the business office.
ABLE, Inc. offers paid personal leave at a rate of 4.33 hours each pay period for new employees. ABLE also offers 1.5 hours of extended leave each pay period. Employees are not able to use the personal leave until they have been employed in a regular position for six months.
ABLE, Inc. offers an attractive benefit package to our full-time employees. ABLE, Inc. provides full-time employees with a $25,000 term life insurance policy upon enrollment, which terminates when employees leave full-time status. ABLE, Inc. also provides full-time employees with disability insurance through Horace Mann. If employees have been in a full time position for one year and are unable to work for 30 calendar days due to health reasons, they may be eligible for disability, which would pay 2/3 of their salary under the disability insurance plan. Signing up for life and disability insurance are non-optional.
ABLE, Inc. offers full-time employees the choice of these benefits; health, dental, and vision insurance. Flexible spending is offered up to $2,400.00 per year. ABLE, Inc.’s anniversary date for insurance policies and flexible spending is July 1st of each year.
